A Christmas idea

Today I drove to Mutti's place to take some photos of Hagen for a project I'm working on.
I was there pretty much all day.
In the evening we put up our Christmas tree.

A spin around the block

It was an ok day. Worked on the January HTV ads. Tried to have lunch at Mutti's but all they have is microwave soup that no one likes. No one likes it... weird. If no one likes the soup then what are they eating? And why do they want me to eat the soup?

On my way home in the evening I got stuck in traffic for an hour. That was fannntastic, I should've just parked my car and walked home, I would've arrived home sooner. Becky made pasta for dinner and it was great.
Yesterday I had a physical check-up and the doctor wanted me to get more exercise. So I put on my skates and went through the neighborhood for an hour. Wow, it was nice.
I snapped a few shots while I was out. Once I got back I had some ice water and doodled a little.
It's very relaxing.

Goodbye Ehor & a great dinner

I went through our basement today and gathered up some things to send to the D.I. Old shirts of mine and a bunch of random stuffed animals, some of which are trying to pass themselves off as famous Disney characters.
Like this fellow here, who was trying to pass himself off as Eeyore. I believe he went through one of those facial transformation procedures like they had in Thunderball and Die Another Day. I've seen Toy Story and so I know the toys do what they want when we're not watching. They figured since they've been sitting around the basement for several years that their only way to make it back upstairs would be to change their appearance.


This creature made some kind of mistake with it's disguise. What is it now? A duck, a bunny?


I saw right through them and now they're on their way to DI World.


The kids helped Becky make a great dinner, Chicken Cordon Blue, mashed potatoes, corn and pumpkin pie.





Emily wanted to eat under candle light so we did.


After dinner Becky & Emily watched Dead Man's Chest while Parker & I played with Legos.

He had a huge story going on. At this point the good guys were captured by the bad guys and they were plotting their escape.

It was a fun day.

Thomas told me how he was almost cast as the next James Bond.
He didn't make the cut because he refused to shave his mustache.

Oh well, there might be a part for you in the upcoming Valkyrie.

Beautiful Tree

I love how our everyday surroundings, things we probably pass everyday, that don't seem to be anything special... but under the right conditions they become wonderful, beautiful images.
On my way to my Mom's house for lunch I noticed these branches against the silky clouds with the sun peaking through. I had to stop and get a shot. I like the original image I took but adding a sepia tone I think really makes it great.

Star Trek 05.08.09

I got to see the Trailer for the upcoming Star Trek movie today.

Pops, if you happen to read this, the kids emptied your money bottles and split up the money like you told them to. They had a good time.
