I have the best benefits anybody could have, I thoroughly enjoy them. I make two easy payments every month of close to $300 and it's awesome. Today I found out that due to human error, the payment for my wicked benefits hasn't been withdrawn from my check since February, which is when I signed up for them. Now I'll get to make eight additional easy payments of $175.00. I'm going to enjoy this.
I used to work for FedEx and their benefits were nowhere near $600 a month, and I didn't enjoy them very much either.
Now this is my own stupid fault because I trusted that the payment would be withdrawn from my check once I signed on. I shouldn't have been so naive. I was told it's my fault and I should've been inspecting each check to make sure that someone was doing their job. True. From now on I will do this for everything.
The next time I go see a movie I will walk upstairs to make sure the projectionist starts the movie on time. The next time I take my car in for an oil change I'll make sure the mechanic fills my car with fresh oil instead of ranch dressing. I think that's why Wal-Mart now has self-checkout lanes, too many people complained about there being too many mistakes when going shopping. If you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
So, I've decided to get a part-time job with my insurance so I can take out my own payment, plus I'll make some extra money to pay for the additional easy payment of $175 twice a month.

100% Less Whipped Up Fluffyness
I felt like having some chocolate today and bought a 3 Musketeers bar at Target. I took it to work and when I bit into it, it was like biting into plywood. You've got to be kidding me!
Now, I could've just thrown it in the garbage but then I thought, this is something that needs to be made known to fellow chocolate lovers out there. You can't trust anything these days, not even that a candy bar will be fresh and delicious. So here are some photos of the candy bar I tried to eat today.

It wasn't very "Fluffy". I wanted to see if it had any of that self-proclaimed "Whipped Up, Fluffy Chocolate" left inside of it. I asked it if it would mind holding up my printer and it gladly obliged. That's no fluff candy bar, that's a Gold's Gym candy bar.

Basically, when you feel like chocolate, always make sure you carry a 10lb weight with you. If the candy bar can bench 10lbs it's not fresh. My candy bar obviously got bored of waiting around for someone to buy it, that it started to work out to pass the time.

I was upset. Although, if you read my May 14th entry you know I'm incapable of looking angry.

Now Showing: STAR TREK
Star Trek opened today with a few shows before it's big Friday opening. We got the IMAX lobby all ready for the Trekkies and Lisa was in full uniform compliments of Sean.

STAR TREK in IMAX... Think BIG...
but not as big as Terminator.

I left at 6pm, but it wasn't late enough. I still got stuck in traffic.
It's either bad traffic, peak traffic, pick-your-nose traffic... you know,
five people died from smoking in between traffic lights today.

Opening this Friday
Time to make more movie signs. The BIG movie summer kicks off on Friday with Wolverine. Here are a few articles about it. Also it looks like Wolverine is going to be more like how he was in X-Men, unlike in X-Men 3. Hugh Jackman says, "It’s fair to say that, by X-Men 3, Wolverine had gone a little soft."

Lunch with Thomas
Thomas and I had lunch today.

Then we took a walk over to Target. The Target employees had an eye on Thomas. He's not allowed to play with the toy animals but we found these puppets.

Megacom is Coming
You have probably heard of Comic-Con, the giant comic book and sci-fi convention. Now Megaplex is going to be giving it a shot. If you like Wolverine or Star Trek it's time for you to dip yourself in adamantium, put on a Trekkie latex suit and beam yourself over to either the Megaplex 17 or Megaplex 13 Theatre.

Upcoming Movies
I wanted to share this page off my desk calendar because Becky just went through the same kind of nonsense recently of dealing with a droid on the phone.
She called our insurance to find out why they were denying my doctor visit.
Droid: Thank you for calling the droid network. I will list off a plethora of options for you to choose from so I may decide how to direct your call.

Push 2 to start over.
2:
Push 1 to continue in English
Push 2 to continue in Spanish
Push 3 to continue in German
Push 4 to continue in Italian

Push 2 to answer 40 more questions.
After 20 minutes the droid told Becky to spell her name to verify who she is.
Droid: Please spell your name so we can know it's really you calling.
Becky: B-E-C-K-
Droid: That does not compute. Please repeat.
Becky: B-E-C-K-
Droid: I'm sorry. Please speak slower.
Becky: B... E... C... K... Y...
Droid: Thank you. Now please spell your last name.
Becky: GU
Droid: I'm sorry. Please speak slower.
Becky: G... U... E... R... T...
Droid: Thank you. Is your name B-E-C-K-Y G-U-E-R-T?
Becky: NO! I wasn't done yet!
Droid: Push 1 if you are calling to talk to someone. Push 2 to start over.
I made a web banner and some signs for the movies coming out this weekend.

Thomas helped me with this one.

Work and Monsters vs Aliens
Time to change the posters again.
After work I met up with Becky & the kids at the 20 to watch Monsters vs Aliens. Thomas & Sony came with too. Before the movie we had dinner at the theatre. We got two plates of spaghetti for $39.95, a taco salad for $29.99 and a hot dog with no bun for only $19.95. Thomas went to 'Mountain of Wok Food' and got two mountains of food for $1.99.

The kids loved the movie.

Little Italy
Here's the pasta display I put together for Peter.
Not too bad I think.

This will be a part of "Little Italy" at the Megaplex 20 soon.

Poster Day
My computer is still down after crashing yesterday, so I spent the day changing out posters in the Jordan Commons office tower and at the baseball stadium. After taking down the Mayan posters in the office tower (finally) I had lunch with Becky at noodles & company. It was great.
I had the whole grain tuscan linguine with shrimp.

Afterwards I met up with Thomas & Josh and we drove out to the stadium to change the posters on display.

These U23D posters are EVERYWHERE! Does it ever end? This is for Sean, he needs to find closure and move on to other IMAX movies.

Our next stop was to pick up some signs for $100.
This is what happens when you leave Thomas and Josh in your car with your camera.

After everything was taken care of the three of us walked over to Target. Josh wanted some Legos.

Then we bought the last six packs of Indiana Jones Masterpieces cards. Now we both have the complete set. Yeah, we're geeks.
I also bought a Marzipan Ritter Sport, one of my favorite kinds of chocolate from Germany.
Luft-Schokolade is #1.
