The Barty Crouch Show

This morning Becky made pancakes, eggs and hash browns and then we watched The F Word with Gordon Ramsay. He's one of my favorite people to watch on TV. I also love watching Kitchen Nightmares.
Becky worked out and then we played with Legos. Then suddenly the door bell rang, it was Thomas. Josh was sad and wanted to see me. Our place is a refuge where sad kids can become happy again. So we let Josh in and sure enough, within minutes he was as happy as can be. We all played with Legos till the sun went down and then I turned on Bioshock and Thomas and I talked. After a while it was time to go again and Josh was sad again. After Thomas, Sonha and Josh left, the kids wanted to watch some TV. Becky sat down with them and turned on The Barty Crouch Show.

I watched a little of it and couldn't figure out what was going on. Becky asked Emily, "Do you even know what's going on?" "No, but I like it," Emily replied. We thought that was funny. Barty Crouch was in a library with some other people in space suits and two skeletons in space suits were chasing them. They didn't find that scary at all, but as I went to get the kids some ice-cream, laughing turned into screaming and crying. "What happened!", I shouted. I thought The Barty Crouch Show was harmless, boy was I wrong.

The scene switched to one of the ladies in the library being transported to an imaginary playground with cloned children and this person.
The kids were terrified. Emily was crying and Parker was clutching to Becky for protection.

I didn't get it. They make funny twisted faces all the time on the computer and I told them Daddy can twist faces like that with Photoshop.
They didn't care. "We hate The Barty Crouch Show! That show sucks," Emily said.

So we changed the channel and watched the Biggest Loser instead.
