Hi

It's been a little over two years since I've written anything, but it seems like people keep checking this dusty old blog to see if I'm still alive. I am.

What do I write... I really don't know. I have deleted everything several times now, thinking nobody wants to read that. Why do fans of this blog come back? 

I used to share my thoughts on movies, but we hardly go to the movies now. I have seen In Time, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Real Steel, The Avengers and Total Recall. I really enjoyed all of them and I would recommend them. I haven't seen anything as great as The Day the Earth Stood Still in a while.

I started doing Boom work this year, which is a lot of fun. I have always loved movies, so being the sound guy has been a blast. The Boom Operator is the guy who holds the mic as close to the actors as possible without allowing the microphone or boom to enter the camera's frame.

I also have a cat now, which I never thought would happen since I am allergic to cats. My cat doesn't seem to bother me though. He's special and he follows me around everywhere. He follows me as I walk through the house and in the evening, if I'm sitting on the couch working on photos or watching TV, he'll lay down right behind me on the top of the couch.
