A nice Thursday

This morning Emily opened present #11 in her advent calendar and it was Asohka from The Clone Wars movie.

My day started at the Megaplex 20 to take pictures of a burrito, tacos, mini sandwiches, a grilled cheese sandwich and a hotdog.
Thomas and Josh were there and came out to enjoy all the food after I took the photos. Josh is so cute and every once in a while I manage to capture a great photo of him just enjoying the simple things in life. Like now, when he got this little chicken sandwich.

The three of us enjoyed a little time by the fountain with some free food.
It was time well spent.

Eventually I had to get to the 17 to upload the photos and make some food court posters. In my box I found an envelope waiting for me and inside was a birthday card. They're thoughtful, now if they could only get dates right. No big deal. I received my five year anniversary watch two years late too.

In the evening Parker asked me, "Dad, you want to buy a triangle?"
I bought a triangle from him for a dime.

Emily made a hat out of a paper plate.

My 2nd Birthday

This morning I had a great breakfast, an onion poppyseed bagel with cream cheese and jam.
I found out after I ate one half of the bagel that it had onions in it. Go figure.

At work I was informed that we would be celebrating my birthday at 3pm with a big chocolate cake.
Sure, why not. My birthday was back in October but I like chocolate cake.

Then the Mayan wanted me to fix a poster for them because they don't have Adobe programs. They offered to give me some shrimp.
Sure, why not. I love shrimp.

On the way home I spent some quality time in traffic.
Sure, why not. I like spending quality time in traffic.

Then Becky & I had dinner with Jamie & Axel at Applebee's. It was good.

Becky being her silly self. That's why I'm crazy about her, she can make me laugh. I love you Becky.

At 7:45pm we watched Transporter 3. Fun movie, watching Jason Statham kick butt.

Family time

This morning I got out of bed and ripped our curtain off the wall. My leg was all tangled in the covers and with my other leg I slipped on some magazines. In an attempt to stop my fall I ripped the curtains right off the wall. That was fun. Becky couldn't stop laughing.
I wasn't feeling very good up until early evening and then I started feeling better. Becky made broccoli ham potato soup. It was great. The kids weren't too thrilled about it. I think to them it tasted more like Nacho Cheese Doritos with milk that I ate once when I was a kid.

After dinner it was time to goof around on Photo Booth. The kids love it.
Yeah, Becky & I love it too.

THIS IS SPARTA!

Other people and visitors from other planets also enjoy having their picture taken.

Then we played Wii bowling.
I got a strike so Becky took a winning photo.
She's still learning good composition.

Lazy Saturday

Stayed home today to work on Christmas projects but instead ended up playing Bioshock. Every year I tell myself I won't wait till the last minute to create things and yet every year I don't start putting things together till the last minute. So far it's worked out.
For lunch I mixed up some eggs with the ham we bought yesterday.

The playground

I woke up around 7:00 this morning because Parker was really excited about getting Deadpool in his advent calendar and he had to show me.

Then he and Becky were off to work and she told me to check out the sunrise.

After getting Emily to the school bus I was off to my doctor's appointment. Had to get gas and a few other things and then I went home and relaxed.

Once the kids got home I asked them what they wanted to do and they said go to the playground.

We had a great time!

Emily even dared to hang upside down from the monkey bars and Parker snapped a picture of it.

Then the three of us walked down to Blockbuster to return the Dead Space and WALL-E video games and then we went over to Harmons. In the store the kids tried a sample of the Honey Baked Ham and loved it. "Daddy, let's get some for dinner! Can we, can we?", they shouted. So I bought some ham, some of those corn chips with Parker's girlfriend on them and some Tropical Mango Gatorade. We walked home and ate ham for dinner.
It was fun.

Lending a Photoshopping hand

I took this for Amber today. She job shadowed me a while ago and needed a photo of me in my domain.

This photo is Sean's Christmas photo. He asked me to fix it up a bit.
I'm always happy help out in any way I can.
I love you Sean. Be a beacon.

Door #3

At 5pm tonight I could see the orange glow of the sunset painting all the clouds that had filled the sky. I grabbed my camera and drove over to a giant tree that I've passed a few times going home when I don't take the freeway. I've always thought it would make a great picture.

Evening Rain

Just a cute photo of Emily eating Peanut Butter Panda Puffs before school.

In the evening around 5pm it rained, so on my way home I stopped to take a picture when I saw these bright trees and the wet sidewalk.

Door #1: Hagen

This is the first day of my photo advent calendar.

Went to Mutti's place for lunch today.

Plus, I had to take some more photos of Hagen.
