$1.97

WOOHOO! I won a Slurpee! Gas is finally under $2.00. I made a bet with Becky for a Slurpee that gas would be below $2.00 before the end of November.

Had lunch at Mutti's with Hagen and Gogo. BLT sandwiches with leaves.

It was good.

This photo may just come in handy for Photoshopping sometime...

The TRANSPORTER

Just for fun...
Transporter 3 opens November 26th.

I found this in my box this morning when I came in to work. If I remember right it was taken back in 2007.

Happy Anniversary

Becky drove over to my work to surprise me with flowers.

Then we walked over to Spaghetti Mama's for an anniversary lunch. I love Spaghetti Mama's because I love pasta and Becky likes it because it's gluten free. When we go out it's usually first on our list unless we're in the mood for something different.

In the evening we took an anniversary photo and watched Never Say Never Again.

Strassenbahn

Today the kids wanted to go on an adventure. They had never ridden TRAX and neither have I actually. So, we got on Trax and rode it down to Temple Square and went for a walk and we visited the visitors' center. The kids loved it. That simple Trax ride was like riding the train at Disneyland. It's just like the Strassenbahn in Germany.

I like to color

I colored this today.

Ok, I didn't "color" it but I'm told that that is what I do all day. Color, take naps and have punch & cookies. I should add that I play with my Rubiks Cube too and occasionally visit Sean while he pushes a few buttons.
Today Sean came to work, wrote a few emails, complained that U23D isn't being advertised all over the theatre, pushed play a few times, walked across the street to see me, we went and got a drink and then we went upstairs where he read an email reminding him to push a button on something and then he turned off his computer. Then he went home.
Reading this you probably figured out that we work at a daycare center. Color, push buttons, take walks, enjoy punch & cookies and go home.
It's Awesome!

4am

Becky woke me up at 4:00am to go buy some Gatorade. I got dressed and drove to Wal-Mart.
When I walked into the Gatorade aisle they had drinks on one side and stocking stuffers on the other. Now why would I want to buy Christmas candy now? I haven't even finished our three pounds of Halloween candy yet.

While I was there I also saw some wild dolphins feeding on a helpless cougar. I didn't interfere, it's the circle of life.

In the evening we went out with Jamie & Axel. We had dinner at Noodles & Company and it was really good.
Then we went and watched Eagle Eye in the IMAX.

Oh, I had to get up at 4am because Emily was sick and needed some Gatorade to settle her stomach.

November 1st

I think I know what the kids want for Christmas...

Jamie came over and the kids had a blast playing Mario Party on Nintendo DS.

Later Pops came over to drop off some of his things. Becky made him some tunafish sandwiches and we talked till 1am. It was really nice.

Taco Thursday

I drove up to Mutti's house for Taco Thursday after work.

Axel covered his tacos in Curry.
It's his trademark. He puts curry on everything.

I tried it but it destroys the taste of everything else on the taco.
You might as well just eat a tortilla with nothing but curry ketchup.

After dinner Hagen gave me a late birthday present. He made me a memory game out of all my Photoshopped movie posters from Worth 1000. My collection of over 300 Photoshopped images and photographs can be seen HERE.

It's a cool present, I like it.

Time Travel and a Shark Attack

Spent most of the day transforming the Megaplex 17 into a Christmas scene for our December Home Town Values cover. Visited Sean and Gavin in the IMAX and got a 6inch ham sandwich at Subway. It was kinda funny because I think I walked through an invisible time portal while I was there... As I walked up to the counter the Subway girl greeted me and asked what kind of sandwich I would like. I told her a 6inch ham sandwich and then she asked, "What kind of bread would you like?" "Wheat" I replied. At that point is when I must've stumbled into some kind worm hole that sent me one minute back in time, because this is what happened next. She grabbed a loaf of bread out of the bread locker, set it on the counter and while she was cutting the wheat bread in half she asked, "What kind of bread would you like?" I was stunned but as I looked at her she just smiled. "Wheat" I said again. She smiled and asked, "What kind of cheese?" Ok... that was weird. The rest was pretty normal, no deja vu or shifts in the matrix.

After work I met up with Jamie & Axel to watch Ghost Town.

It was a really good movie. Before driving home I stopped at Target, just because I like Target and I picked up some Hot Wheels for the kids. While I was there some special toys caught my eye and I thought of Thomas...

The Future of DVD covers

The kids had a little snack before we sat down for some movie time.

We watched The Wrath of Khan first.

Then we watched The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network.

Next we watched The new INCREDIBLE HULK.
Well... I did. Everybody else fell asleep.
I bought the Super Deluxe Titanium Break Through The Wall Collector's Edition. No more regular DVD covers. Everything is super deluxe now.

The final scene in the movie made me want to see IRON MAN again...
So, I watched IRON MAN and then I watched The Making of IRON MAN until 5am.
