Christmas Eve

Dropped off my calendars to Kim at Alphagraphics right before going to work. I had to reprint them because the guys who printed them yesterday loaded them into their pixel modulator and crapified all my work.
HR put together breakfast at work which was really nice.
We talked about making calendars and Star Wars Robot Chicken.
What the H is an Aluminum Falcon? LOL!

Steve kicked us out at 12:30 so I went and took care of some last minute Christmas stuff. I stopped by Mutti's place to try and help her with her digital photo frame which we actually never got to work. Then I dropped off a Punisher War Zone poster to my friend Chris at TRU and picked up a few last minute things there. On my way home I stopped a couple times to shoot some Christmas lights. You find all kinds of lights, from a little to "Now I know who's draining the city of power".

Becky & I wrapped presents and Santa dropped off a few things.

Work and helping Thomas

Today I worked on a Valentine's ad for HTV and handed out a few calendars. The Dark Knight Joker Calendar for Cal - "You gonna open it?" "Absolutely Not", He said.
Then that Olympic dude for Arlena. The guy who won 8 gold medals for swimming good - I can't remember his name.
CARS for Jeff. He likes Mater.
Then a delivery was made from the once again NEW Mayan. They wanted us to try a NEW Tamale. It didn't taste new. It tasted old and yucky like cottage cheese mixed with cornbread. There is no hope for that place no matter how many new managers come in, how many times they change the food and regardless of how many more elaborate dive shows they create. IT'S OVER.

After work I drove over to Thomas' place to help him move a giant glass disk from his old garage to his apartment, where he wishes to store it behind his couch. I didn't have my camera but that's ok, we didn't move it out of the garage because it was too big. Sean offered to get his Exterra but his trunk opening isn't big enough for giant glass disks. We decided to meet again next week with a vehicle specifically designed for the transportation of giant objects such as this piece of glass. I offered to do it Thursday but I guess they're busy. It's so hard to find time that suits everyone.

Now I'm at home putting some final touches on Jamie's Calendar.

I took a little break to have some dinner and I watched a few trailers too.
This is a cool looking movie.

Saturday

We spent the day cleaning the house and getting ready for Christmas.
In the evening we stopped by Becky's parent's place to celebrate Brent's birthday. Then we went to the Eddie Bauer store to pick out a present for Opa. It's funny how we had to look through several different items to find something that wasn't made in China. Do people in the U.S. not know how to make sweatshirts? I eventually settled for a sweatshirt made in Macau.

While we were there we let Parker walk around and take some pictures.

Christmas Program

Jeff, my boss, let me leave early today to go see Parker's Christmas program. It was nice and I was glad I got to be there. They sang a bunch of Christmas songs and told Christmas jokes.

Slick

I was about to take a picture of Emily all bundled up with a smile until she opened the door and saw all new fallen snow. She was surprised.

It snowed a lot last night. The roads were so slick that I slid right onto the sidewalk when I dropped off Parker.

Snow

It snowed all night and the kids wanted to go outside. We've been waiting for snow and we were excited. They hurried and put their snow gear on and we went and played in the snow. Becky went Christmas shopping with our friend Arlena.

They made snow angels.

We tried to build a snowman but the snow wouldn't pack. All we could make were snowballs. So, I made a tiny snowman and the kids tried to knock him over with snowballs.

They loved it. They were laughing and had a good time.

Before we went in I got out some lights and decorated our tree. I had been wanting to decorate it and today I had the time.

It's not a lot of lights, but I love it.

A nice Thursday

This morning Emily opened present #11 in her advent calendar and it was Asohka from The Clone Wars movie.

My day started at the Megaplex 20 to take pictures of a burrito, tacos, mini sandwiches, a grilled cheese sandwich and a hotdog.
Thomas and Josh were there and came out to enjoy all the food after I took the photos. Josh is so cute and every once in a while I manage to capture a great photo of him just enjoying the simple things in life. Like now, when he got this little chicken sandwich.

The three of us enjoyed a little time by the fountain with some free food.
It was time well spent.

Eventually I had to get to the 17 to upload the photos and make some food court posters. In my box I found an envelope waiting for me and inside was a birthday card. They're thoughtful, now if they could only get dates right. No big deal. I received my five year anniversary watch two years late too.

In the evening Parker asked me, "Dad, you want to buy a triangle?"
I bought a triangle from him for a dime.

Emily made a hat out of a paper plate.

My 2nd Birthday

This morning I had a great breakfast, an onion poppyseed bagel with cream cheese and jam.
I found out after I ate one half of the bagel that it had onions in it. Go figure.

At work I was informed that we would be celebrating my birthday at 3pm with a big chocolate cake.
Sure, why not. My birthday was back in October but I like chocolate cake.

Then the Mayan wanted me to fix a poster for them because they don't have Adobe programs. They offered to give me some shrimp.
Sure, why not. I love shrimp.

On the way home I spent some quality time in traffic.
Sure, why not. I like spending quality time in traffic.

Then Becky & I had dinner with Jamie & Axel at Applebee's. It was good.

Becky being her silly self. That's why I'm crazy about her, she can make me laugh. I love you Becky.

At 7:45pm we watched Transporter 3. Fun movie, watching Jason Statham kick butt.
