Sleep

4am Now that Linkin has eaten and is back asleep I'll go to bed. I stayed up with him watching The Cutting Edge and Back to the Future 3.

Taco Friday

My new magnet arrived today. Looking back, I think this was the highlight of my week.
As I left the building it was raining. It was coming down hard.
The guy on the left was coming from the theatre. As I got to my car I saw him get into his. Then he ran up to me and asked if I could spare of couple of dollars for gas because his car wouldn't start. I gave him a couple of dollars and he thanked me and said he would pay me back on Monday. Ok, we'll see if he stops by. As I was leaving the parking lot I saw him walking down the street in the pouring rain. I felt bad so I gave him a ride to the Chevron down the street. He was a really nice guy.
Then I picked up Jamie from Trax and we drove to her place for Taco Friday.

Becky, Emily and Parker each had a crunchy taco while I had the lard & flour soft tortilla tacos and after dinner we watched Deal or No Deal.

Eat More Cocoa

Since I got the Wii Fit last December I've lost almost 20lbs! On August 8th I got down to 229 but since then it's gone up and down and I'm still trying to keep my weight below 230.
I love Wii Fit because it's fun but also because it keeps track of your progress and if you choose you can be given helpful tips to help you in your weight loss program. Today I learned something great that will help me lose more weight and hopefully get me down below 230 and keep me there.
I need to eat more cocoa!
Some people think that eating celery sticks and lettuce wraps with a sensible peanut in the evening is the way to shed pounds. That may be, because you're starving yourself, but it's not healthy. No man can live off of lettuce and peanuts alone. Ok, maybe some people can, but not me. I don't like taking tips from infomercials or from wherever this diet plan came from. Now I will listen to my Wii. So now I've decided to cover everything I eat with cocoa and maybe just eat it straight, like when Rocky drank raw eggs. I'm not into drinking raw eggs, but I like chocolate milk. I'm going to try drinking more chocolate milk. Chocolate milk doesn't upset my stomach and milk is good for you. If you can't drink milk just have some straight cocoa, or maybe cocoa with a banana, because bananas are pretty good for you too.
Well, that's all for now. Stay away from eating just lettuce and peanuts and give cocoa a try.

The Thrill Is Gone

The first half of my day was so uneventful and unrewarding that I don't think I even need to waste my time talking about it.

My day finally got better around 6:30pm when I went skating. I went 8 laps around the 1.4 mile path that surrounds Liberty Park. That comes out to a little over 11 miles. Then I drove home with the windows down and at home I had a cup of water and watched CSI NY.
While watching TV I played with Photoshop. For a while now I've been wanting to create a similar look to that of the Gamer poster that I posted on June 12th. Playing around with Photoshop, making posters, taking interesting pictures, that's what I love. Learning new techniques, that's fun and rewarding. Making a decal for a vending machine, to teach people that you need to put money in before it will dispense a product, not so much.

Wedding photographer

Today we drove to Camp Williams for Ashley and Adam's wedding.
A lot of old theatre friends were there, like our fellow projectionist friend Chris.

Here's the happy couple, just married.
We went outside to get some family photos and I hung around to not give them any privacy but get some photos of them cuddling.

Emily danced a little.
Brandi gave me a back massage.
Sean pretended to have a conversation.
Brandi broke out in song in the backyard.
Linkin was just enjoying being held and feeling the cool breeze.

Sean saw that I took some photos of the back of Ashley's dress and asked if I would get a photo of his back. Here you go Sean, you look great.
Brendan enjoying the cheese cake and peanuts.
Becky noticed that the kids were walking in and out of the dining area every two minutes and each time they had a drink in each hand. "What are they doing, didn't they just get a drink?" she asked me. I went to check on them and found them "doing science", as they like to call it. It's when you experiment with mixing different drinks together to see what new flavors you can create.

Another shot of Sean and I to add to the "Sean and John photo collection."
Sean and Mike. Mike also brought his Nikon and got some great pictures.

Arlena and Mindy arrived.
Shane and his wife also came.
Aaron and Britnee
Thomas and Sonha

This is where the kids got extremely bored and had nothing left to do that was fun.
"When can we go?" they asked. "Soon," I told them, which really means in a few hours.
Shelly and Mindy
Becky and Arlena
These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Stewart even came and we snapped his picture every time he walked past us. It was funny.
Linkin was content all day.
Shortly after 8pm they drove off. That was our day and I snapped a little over 500 photos.

Up late with the boys

It's 3am. I'm up with Linkin as he tells me in his own way, "Can't you see that I'm starving, I just ate 20 minutes ago." Then after three ounces he says, "You think three ounces is gonna fill me up? You gotta be kidding me." So I made another two ounces.

Then Parker came downstairs half asleep and laid down on the couch. The couch is more comfortable I guess or he can sleep better near us.

While Linkin eats I'm just passing the time playing Bejeweled Blitz on facebook, watching MTV and this commercial that runs every 20 minutes. The lady is saying that you can create the beautiful bustline you've always wanted by simply using this device. LOL!
This doctor lady says it's easy to use, anyone can use it and it's fast. It only takes 5 minutes a day!
Here's what this "Real Person" had to say about the easy to use bustline enhancing device.
The website claims this is a real person, but she looks more like that vampire lady in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Ok, it looks like Linkin is full now. It's 3:25am and I think I'm finally going to go to sleep.
Good Night.
