The kids woke me up early to open presents before Emily left for school.

I received a lot of great gifts. I got this Marvel Heroes and Villains T-shirt,

some squishy disgusting skulls that the kids picked out,

Emily and Parker both made me a birthday card,

I got this funny Domo in a pumpkin suit,

Parker gave me some Batman napkins,

I got an orange crab, Chuck Norris folders, apple & cinnamon oatmeal, a Joker mask and Iron Man on DVD.



After opening presents Becky & I went with Parker to BIG Kmart.


While Parker was trying on masks guess who we met?


I even found a Heath Ledger figure from the movie The Dark Knight. I was amazed. The only place where this figure can be found without fail is ebay.

Then we walked down the Christmas in October aisle. We haven't even reached Halloween yet but you can already buy your favorite stocking.

Hallowhat? Thanksgiving? I'll tell you what I'm thankful for... That I can get my stockings hung by the chimney with care, even before little ghosts and goblins can give me a scare.

Seriously, I'd like to know when we decided that we need to get our Christmas trees ready before going Trick or Treating. In keeping this tradition, I've decided to celebrate my birthday on August 8th next year.

I've also decided to dress up as a Nutcracker for Halloween this year and I'm going to hand out candy canes.













Note to Mutti: I am honored that I have such devoted fans who visit my blog every day. Some entries may need to be revisited though since it's a lot of work keeping it up to date, and staying up every night till 2am eventually catches up with me and I need to rest. Please be patient Mutti.

I loved the cake with imitation Legos and the pork tenderloin smothered in mushrooms topped with pineapple and melted swiss cheese along with a beilage of fried potatoes was delicious. Thank you very much. :)
