Wienermobile

Woke up this morning and turned on the news to hear how another Wal-Mart has opened where people didn't want one, yet there were people cheering in the background and eagerly awaiting to go inside. It's like the Wal-Mart in my backyard. People didn't want a Wal-Mart in our neighborhood, yet whenever I go shopping there it's full of happy people.
The future is here and it belongs to Wal-Mart. Taco Bell won the franchise wars in Demolition Man. In the real world Supermarket wars Wal-Mart will soon rule the world with a Wal-Mart on every street corner like 7 Eleven.

I heard the Wienermobile was going to be at the Grand Opening of the new Wal-Mart in Cedar Hills today. So... after Arlena and I worked on her food court price signs I suggested that we should drive out to Cedar Hills to get a FREE Hot Dog.
Cedar Hills is near Lehi on the east side of the freeway. I forgot to print out a map but figured it couldn't be too hard to find... I was wrong. We drove all over but eventually were forced to abort. We drove to a Wal-Mart closer to Sandy to get a mixer, some ice cream and some cones but no free hot dogs. It was funny because we wasted a half hour trying to find the new Wal-Mart and found out later that we actually came really close. Oh well, Arlena had some hot dogs at work on her desk so we just ate those.

Then on my way home guess who passed me on the freeway. It was the Wienermobile that I didn't get to see earlier. Awesome!

I drove next to him for a few miles to get some pictures.
