Father, son evening

Tonight Becky went with Kristie and Emily to a baby shower and I got to spend time with Parker, some father and son time.
Becky dropped him off at the theatre and he played with some G.I. Joe cards that Cal gave us while I finished my work. Once I was done we put on some tattoos before going to BK.

Parker loves chicken nuggets regardless if it's Burger King or McDonald's. He even told me when I was ordering, "Just get me the usual please."
Then we were off to Target to check out the G.I. Joe movie figures.
Guess who we saw there... Thomas and Sony. They were there to check out the toys too. Thomas was excited about the new Legos. Thomas, you get paid tomorrow...
you know what you need to do. This looks like a really fun set. This would be great to pass the time at work. It even comes with a cute Han Solo figure. After you clock in and get your check just take a "break" and run over to Target. Legos are great for days when you have to work a double. It will also be a great addition to your shrine of toys.

Parker and I got a few G.I. Joes. I even found one Hawk figure, it was the only one. Hawk is played by Dennis Quaid in the G.I.Joe movie.

G.I.Joe opens August 7th.

Parker was excited about the Snake Eyes Sword & Mask. He's going to see if he has enough money at home to come back and get it.
We said goodbye to Thomas & Sony. They went over to Harmons to get some dinner. I hope you didn't get the ten piece chicken bucket with the two gallon bucket of gravy. I hope you made a healthy food choice.
On our way home we hit traffic. The traffic lights were out and some idiot ahead of us weaseled his way ahead of his turn and almost got hit. I don't understand why people don't understand how a four way stop works. Each car takes their turn, kind of like when you're in line at a waterpark waiting to go down the water slide. People don't just pile on top of each other to slide down the slide, you could get injured. It would seem that that rule would apply to traffic even more so, but no. I watched how 4 cars would go at a time while other angry people would just pull out into the intersection honking and yelling. Totally ridiculous.
After getting home safely Parker was excited for carnaging. It was Red Faction time! We even have the sound hooked up to the stereo speakers for bigger sound like when Glenn and I played years ago.
Those were fun times: Prepare to be carnaged by the CARNAGER!

After Red Faction we played with Parker's new G.I. Joe figures.
Snake Eyes had to battle Storm Shadow, The Rhino and Shredder.

Storm Shadow's demise was the worst. He got cooked in the microwave.
We had a great time. As we decided to take it easy and watch Tomb Raider, Parker snuggled up next to me and fell asleep. It was a fun father, son evening.

You had Sony and I laughing about Water Park rules, too hilarious! I'm stuck running both sides till 4, after which I'm running to Target as fast as these legs will carry me!
