Today I went to a screening of "The Express" for Cal.
Based on a true story, the movie follows the extraordinary life of college football hero Ernie Davis, the first African-American to win the Heisman Trophy.

It was a great movie.
Then in the evening it was time to step back into the B Movie world. Tonight's Special presentation was Soft Target. Not to be mistaken withHard Target.

The movie revolves around two police detectives who have to protect a girl from mob hitmen.
It stars Don "The Dragon" Wilson
and Gary Busey.
Unfortunately I can't give a complete rundown of the movie because I fell asleep shortly after a boring shoot out in a parking lot. But there was a scene right before it where Don was trying to question some guy in a bar...
Don: Have you seen any girls in here?
Bar Thug: What do you mean?
Don: I'm looking for a girl?
Bar Thug: You mean like your sister?
Don: No, I mean a girl who's missing and I'm looking for her.
Bar Thug: Like I said, I don't know what you mean.
After not getting any information from the guy, Don walks over to his partner and complains to him about the guy not cooperating. It went something like this...
Don: He wouldn't tell me anything. He didn't understand what I meant.
Partner: What do you mean?
Don: I tried to tell him about the girl but I guess I couldn't explain myself well.
Partner: What do you mean?
Don: I tried to tell him that we're looking for a girl but we don't know where she is so we're trying to find someone who does because that would help us find her.
Partner: I don't know what you mean. Let me go talk to him...
So his partner walks over to the thug, punches him in the stomach and smacks his head on the pool table. Then the thug told him that he saw the girl a little while ago.
